Selection Process For HPCL Junior Executive

Depending on the requirements of the role, the selection process may use a variety of shortlisting and selection procedures, such as computer-based testing (CBT), group discussion, skill test, personal interview, etc.

All applicants who fulfil requisite eligibility criteria may be invited to take a computer-based test.

The computer-based test will have two sections and objective questions:

  • General Aptitude: consisting of English Language, Quantitative Aptitude Test & Intellectual Potential test (Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation).
  • Technical / Professional Knowledge: Questions related to educational background and qualification degrees required for the post applied for are part of Technical/Professional Knowledge section.

Depending on their merit and a predetermined ratio, candidates who pass the computer-based test may be invited to participate in a group discussion, a skill test, and a personal interview. Those who pass the skill test and group discussion will be referred for a personal interview.

On the basis of their overall performance in computer-based tests, group discussion, skill test, and personal interview, candidates will also be referred for pre-employment medical examinations.
